Pick-Up hockey will consist of 1 hour 15 minute full ice games. THIS PROGRAM IS LIMITED TO 30 PLAYERS....15 PER TEAM + 2 goalies - 2 TEAMS PER AGE LEVEL. Upon registration, teams will be made (light vs dark) each week and adjusted as needed. Lines will be made for each team to compete against equal skill levels on the opposing team. A buzzer will indicate line changes so all lines will have equal time. A face off will start the game and then continuous play from there. Pick up hockey is Non-check. Players are encouraged to self identify penalties and off-sides, when this happens a change of possession will occur. If any player is sabotaging the game experience through poor behavior (USA Hockey Code of Conduct) they will receive 1 warning. Upon a second offense, they will be removed from the program. There are no refunds for this program.

Spring Clinic registration is now open! Our spring clinics are designed for players who have played a least one season of travel hockey and are looking to develop their individual skill set. A *player's skating, shooting, passing, stickhandling, and mental toughness will be challenged and pushed in a short amount of time. *Goalies included.

Our Colts Academy Spring Clinic registration is now open! Our spring clinics are designed for our academy players and 8U travel players. This clinic is perfect for the player looking to continue to develop their skills or the player looking to tryout for a travel team in June. We will focus on skating, shooting, passing, and stickhandling in a short amount of time. Each session will be formatted similar. 45-60 minutes of skill work and 15-30 minutes of small area games.

Our 5 week Learn the hockey, 6U, 8U & Cross ice games class has it all for your young/new to hockey player. Each Saturday will be structured similar. 35 minutes of station drills teaching the fundamentals of skating, passing, shooting, and stickhandling, and 25 minutes of cross ice games.

Welcome to the Stockton Jr. Colts Hockey Club. We offer your child the most exciting and unique sporting opportunity in California's Central Valley.
The Stockton Jr. Colts is a youth hockey organization dedicated to the development of players at every skill level. Since 1957, the Jr. Colts has continued to provide a premier hockey program in Northern California, by serving its players with a family atmosphere that encourages hard work, good sportsmanship, and above all the opportunity to enjoy their youth hockey experience.
The Jr. Colts offer a variety of services from beginning skaters to advanced players. Our "A/B" teams offer a balance of skill development and competition in the Northern California . The Jr. Colts offer teams for boys (ages 5 - 18) and girls (ages 5 - 18).
As members of the Northern California Junior Hockey Association (Norcal), California Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA), and USA Hockey, the Colts' home ice is located at Oak Park Ice Rink (Oak Park) in Stockton, California.
The Stockton Colts Player Development Program assists player in developing their passion and skill for the game as quickly and efficiently as possible. The Colts offer two programs for player development. Below are brief descriptions of the programs we offer. For more information, please contact the club.
Colts Academy (beginners - intermediate skill level) - Academy players go through a 12 week program offered two times a year (September - December & January - April). Wednesday nights players work on skating, stickhandling, shooting, and passing as they work through different stations on the ice. Saturday's, academy players are taken through a simulated game experience where they are exposed to understanding the game, ice awareness, pattern recognition, and problem solving.
Colts Competitive Travel Hockey (Intermediate - Advanced skill level) The Stockton Colts travel hockey is a part of the Northern California Hockey Association (NorCal) and the California Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA). This season is from mid-August through March. See our "teams page" for more information.
