TRY-OUT FOR COLTS TEAM (2022-2023 season)
2022-23 USA Hockey Membership is required to try-out. Please visit www.usahockeyregistration.com if you need to register. Please bring your USA Hockey number to every try-out.
To register for try-outs, please click on the registration link at the bottom of the page. A $80/$125.00 try-out fee must be paid at time of registration. The try-out fee is a stand alone fee that is not connected to your season team fees. IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO ATTEND THE TRY-OUT, BUT WANT TO STILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THE TEAM PLEASE REGISTER THROUGH THE TRYOUT LINK. If you do not register through the link below, you will be considered a "Walk-Up" registration.
"Walk up" try-out registrations will be accepted. Walk up try-out fee is $175.00. Walk ups can pay at the try-out table with cash, check, or credit card. We encourage you to register so we can be prepared for you and your try-out.
BIRTH CERTIFICATES AND RESIDENCY DOCUMENTS
If you are a new player to NORCAL, or are foreign born, you will be asked to provide a copy of your government issued birth certificate and/or US Visa documents to the NORCAL Registrar. Please make sure that you bring these documents to tryouts in the event that you are picked for a team.

Welcome to the Stockton Jr. Colts Hockey Club. We offer your child the most exciting and unique sporting opportunity in California's Central Valley.
The Stockton Jr. Colts is a youth hockey organization dedicated to the development of players at every skill level. Since 1957, the Jr. Colts has continued to provide a premier hockey program in Northern California, by serving its players with a family atmosphere that encourages hard work, good sportsmanship, and above all the opportunity to enjoy their youth hockey experience.
The Jr. Colts offer a variety of services from beginning skaters to advanced players. Our "A/B" teams offer a balance of skill development and competition in the Northern California . The Jr. Colts offer teams for boys (ages 5 - 18) and girls (ages 5 - 18).
As members of the Northern California Junior Hockey Association (Norcal), California Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA), and USA Hockey, the Colts' home ice is located at Oak Park Ice Arena (Oak Park) in Stockton, California.
The Stockton Colts Player Development Program (PDP), assists player in developing their passion and skill for the game as quickly and efficiently as possible. The Colts offer three programs for player development. Below are brief descriptions of the programs we offer. For more information, please contact the club.
Colts Academy (beginners - intermediate skill level) - Academy players go through a 12 week program offered two times a year (September - December & January - April). Monday nights players work on skating, stickhandling, shooting, and passing as they work through different stations on the ice. Saturday's, academy players are taken through a simulated game experience where they are exposed to understanding the game, ice awareness, pattern recognition, and problem solving.
Colts Competitive Travel Hockey (Intermediate - Advanced skill level) The Stockton Colts travel hockey is a part of the Northern California Hockey Association (NorCal) and the California Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA). This season is from mid-August through March. See our "teams page" for more information.
Colts "Practice Player" - This offering is for players who have completed our Academy (maybe multiple times/years) and is trying to continue their development with one of our competitive travel teams. For more information about being a practice player please contact the club.
