This off-season, the Board of Directors in conjunction with the Director of Coaches and Director of Hockey Operations, made some amendments to our Policy and Directives.  Moving forward into the 2018-2019 season, coaches will be required to complete the following.

  • Sign a “Coach Conduct Agreement” spelled out by the Board of Directors

  • Conduct player evaluations twice in the season (November & February/March)
  • Fill out incident reports (when necessary) and deliver to Board of Directors in a timely manner
  • Meet with Board of Directors for mid-season (November) assessment and end of the season assessment (February/March)

The Board of Directors is also encouraging every Coach to build into their season plan the interests, attitude, and values that the Stockton Colts organization seeks to model to every young athlete that wears a Colts sweater. (This is the Organization’s Mission statement found on our Web site -  mission statement)
  • INTERESTS – Hockey Education, Personal Development, Fun

The Board of Directors will also be pairing Head Coaches with an Assistant Coach that can assist in building into the team these said interests, attitude, and values.

Spring Skills Clinic & Games

Players will complete drills to develop the basics of shooting, passing as well as fundamentals in power-skating, quick feet, agility, pivoting, cross-overs, and balance.  We believe that every athlete's goal is to develop their skills and abilities to their full potential.  Hard work and determination are two of the characteristics that you use to fulfill that goal.
